- About Journal of Astronomy and Space Sciences
- The Journal of Astronomy and Space Sciences (JASS; J. Astron. Space Sci.) is the official publication of the Korean Space Science Society (KSSS), the most prestigious academic society in space science and space application fields in Korea. JASS is an international journal devoted to the publication of fundamental and applied investigations of all aspects of space-related science and technology. It was launched in 1984 and is published quarterly. Each article published is assigned a unique DOI that serves to identify the article in the digital environment. JASS is an open access journal; consequently, full texts of articles are free for all users to read and use. The papers published in JASS are accessible at the journal homepage (http://janss.kr), DOAJ website as well as at the SAO/NASA ADS website. JASS has been indexed by KCI and SCOPUS since 2007 and 2012, respectively. Also, JASS was re-indexed by DOAJ and newly indexed as ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index) by Clarivate Analytics in 2017. This journal is supported in part by a Grant-in-Aid for the publication of scientific research from the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST).
